Meet Our Management Team

Brad Waldon
As the founder of Corehesion, Brad bootstrapped the company into a profitable and consistently innovative product development business. Under Brad’s leadership, Corehesion developed a comprehensive, award-winning product that continues to evolve, maintaining its competitive edge.
With a background in management consulting, Brad has successfully implemented practical solutions across the breadth of industrial operations, from frontline teams to executive management. A foundation in frontline operational and leadership roles in heavy industry, combined with over 20 years of experience owning and running businesses, allows him to merge strategic leadership with hands-on expertise to deliver measurable results.
Brad is passionate about building close relationships and deeply understanding customers’ businesses. With a commitment to redefining industry best practices, through a strategic use of information technology, Brad helps businesses transform their processes to be more effective and forward-thinking.
Empowering leadership is at the core of Brad’s approach. Brad fosters a culture where teams are encouraged to bring their unique perspectives and skills to solve significant industry challenges and drive meaningful change.
During his downtime Brad enjoys getting outdoors and spending time in nature.

Jen Sadler
Jen is committed to fostering a high-performance culture where people thrive, innovation flourishes, and consistency drives excellence.
With over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources and Learning & Development, as People and Performance Manager at Corehesion, Jen partners with leaders and teams to build and implement people strategies that achieve the Corehesion vision and business mission, enhancing engagement, professional development, and long-term success through growth.
With expertise in talent management, leadership development, and continuous improvement through structured frameworks, Jen ensures that culture and performance align to deliver maximum value to our customers.
A qualified Business Coach and certified Whole Brain Thinking Practitioner, Jen leverages people’s thinking preferences to enhance communication, collaboration, and effectiveness across teams, and believes in the power of creating an environment where people can do their best work.
When not driving people and performance strategies, Jen enjoys reading fiction, cheering on her son at football games, and keeping active with a daily Les Mills workout.

Marcus Valastro
Marcus is passionate about delivering innovative and practical solutions that address real-world challenges in the mining and industrial sectors. With a strong foundation in Mechatronics Engineering and Commerce, he combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of business operations to create impactful software solutions that streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
As Corehesion’s Product and Program Manager, Marcus leads the development and implementation of software projects. His approach focuses on working closely with clients to understand their unique needs. A key highlight of his career has been leading the development of an award-winning stone dust management solution for underground coal mining, which was recognised as the Best New Product at the Queensland Mining Awards.
Marcus plays a key role in driving Corehesion’s mission to improve industry outcomes and foster a culture of innovation. Dedicated to enhancing industry standards, he is committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in industrial operations.
Outside of work, Marcus brings the same competitive drive and teamwork mindset to the footy field, where he plays AFL. Whether on the field or in the office, he thrives in high-pressure environments and enjoys working with a team to achieve a common goal.

Heather Ballard
Heather began her career in integration, verification, and validation, an area she quickly developed a passion for and has been dedicated to for over 20 years. She thrives in the testing space, finding joy in the opportunity to learn something new every day. For Heather, testing is more than simply verifying that specifications or requirements are met—it’s about applying experience, stepping back to ensure a thorough understanding, and critically assessing whether the information supporting a solution makes sense. She draws upon her strong analytical and critical thinking skills in her work and encourages others to do the same.
Early in her career, Heather was introduced to the importance of well-structured work processes. While processes are often seen as rigid, she views them as essential tools for ensuring consistency, maintaining standards, and providing a foundation for continuous improvement. She appreciates working at Corehesion, where process is valued and employee feedback is encouraged to drive efficiency and innovation.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family in the outdoors, particularly on camping trips over long weekends with friends. She also has a passion for reading, swimming, and dancing, embracing activities that bring both relaxation and energy into her life.
